Melwood’s Plan for Friday, June 18, 2021
June 17, 2021
In observance of the Juneteenth holiday recently signed into law, Melwood’s corporate offices will be closed (Shared Services) tomorrow, Friday, June 18, 2021. Those who provide indirect support to programming are expected to be available by cell if needed in an emergency.
Due to the last minute nature of the federal announcement, Melwood’s Community Services will remain open in order to accommodate families and prevent those we support from having to make sudden adjustments.
Contract employees should plan to work tomorrow unless and until your supervisor says otherwise.
We are awaiting guidance from contracting officers but want to ensure that Melwood fulfills its obligations to the sites we support. Please contact your supervisor for the latest information on site closures.
If you have any questions or concerns, please call 301-599-8000.
