Day Program Thanksgiving Feast
On Friday, November 18, Melwood’s Executive Team, Senior Leaders, Board Members, Direct Support Professionals and Friends joined our Day Program participants at a number of our facilities to serve a special Thanksgiving meal. Catered by Boston Market, the meal featured a variety of delicious foods including turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, cornbread and more. The rooms were filled with music, cheer and lots of laughter as attendees shared the things they were most thankful for.
Holiday Cheer
A number of our programs celebrated the season all December long. At the Dower House campus, program participants enjoyed holiday craft projects where they decorated festive gourds! On December 16, Melwood held its annual holiday event for our participants at each of our program locations. Attendees arrived in holiday inspired attire to enjoy festive music and delicious food.
The Recreation Center also held its annual Deck the Stalls event on December 17. Friends, family and members of the community gathered at the barn for cookies, hot chocolate and merriment. The weather might have been frightful, but the atmosphere was delightful!
