Tasha Austin, Board Director, is a Principal in Deloitte’s Risk and Financial Advisory Services business and has more than 24 years’ experience involving commercial and federal financial statement audits, fraud, dispute analysis and investigations, artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced data analytics. Tasha serves as a STEM Ambassador on behalf of Deloitte in developing rising STEM talent by way of her capacity as Professor of Mathematics and Statistics at the Northern Virginia Community College and a guest lecturer on various subjects including AI Literacy, AI Bias Mitigation, Intersection of AI & DEI, Advanced Math and Statistics, and Business Courses. She also serves on the National Board of Directors for NABA Inc., and Posse DC. Tasha has a BS and MS in Mathematics from North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC, and an MBA from Howard University in Washington, DC and is currently a PhD candidate for Artificial Intelligence.
