Raquel Tamez, Board Director, currently serves as the Chief Inclusion & Engagement Officer at CRA International, a leading global consulting firm that offers economic, financial, and strategic expertise to major law firms, corporations, accounting firms, and governments around the world. Raquel formerly served as the CEO of the Society of Hispanic Engineers (SHPE) where she led SHPE’s mission of empowering the Hispanic community to realize its fullest potential through careers in STEM—science, technology, engineering, and math. Prior to SHPE, Raquel was the Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel and Senior Vice President of Legal for SourceAmerica, a national nonprofit agency that creates employment opportunities for people with significant disabilities. Fluent in Spanish and born to Mexican immigrant parents, Raquel is a prominent figure in legal and advocacy circles in STEM and the Hispanic community. Raquel is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and St. Mary’s University School of Law.
