UPPER MARLBORO, Md. – The Melwood Family of Companies today announced the appointment of Rayna Fauntleroy as Vice President of Program Quality and Compliance, a newly established leadership role that underscores the organization’s continued investment in delivering exceptional, person-centered services for people with disabilities and other barriers to employment.
Created following Humanim’s affiliation with Melwood, the new Program Quality and Compliance Department provides independent oversight of service quality, regulatory compliance, employee training, and continuous quality improvement across Melwood Community Services and Humanim. The department reflects Melwood’s commitment to ensuring every individual served receives care that reflects the highest standards of excellence.

The Program Quality and Compliance Department operates independently from program operations, allowing it to objectively monitor service quality, identify opportunities for improvement, and foster a culture of accountability across the organization.
Fauntleroy brings more than 30 years of experience serving individuals with behavioral health and developmental disabilities, including more than a decade leading quality assurance and compliance initiatives. She previously served as Vice President of Quality Assurance and Corporate Compliance at Humanim, where she developed and oversaw quality assurance and corporate compliance programs across the organization’s human services divisions.
She holds a Master of Social Work degree and has built her career around helping organizations create systems that improve outcomes, strengthen accountability, and protect the individuals they serve.
