Hop on over to Melwood’s Spring EGGstravaganza for one of the largest egg hunts in the state! Enjoy games, crafts, activities, the bunny trail, prizes, food trucks, and so much more. Parking:
For the safety and convenience of guests, there will be no guest parking on site. Instead, there are 4 designated parking lots for this event, each with free shuttle service to the event. Please board buses with Melwood logo only.
If you arrive 30 minutes after a lot opens, it is likely that the lot will be full. Please proceed to the next lot with an “opening time” closest to your arrival. Lot D is the largest lot and can accommodate more than 300 cars.
Lot A – Christ Church Durham Parish

- Opens at 12:00 pm (the 30-minute rule does not apply here)
Lot B – Nanjemoy Community Center

Lot C – Mt. Hope Elementary School

This is an outdoor event, rain or shine, and it is family-friendly, welcoming everyone of all ages and abilities.
- Bags will be provided for the egg hunt.
- Parking will be off-site, but a shuttle service from La Plata and Nanjemoy will be available.
- All registered guests will receive detailed parking instructions.
