Workforce development programs
abilIT
Melwood’s abiliIT is a 14-week program combining soft skills development and technical instruction, which can lead to A+, Network+, and Security+ certifications.
Building Paths
In partnership with the Covenant House and other community organizations, Building Paths provides construction pre-apprenticeship credentialing and training.
WISH Center
Based in Fairfax County, Va., the Workforce Innovative Skills Hub (WISH) Center helps community members reach financial sustainability through job training, placement, and ongoing support.
Employers don’t want to take a chance when they view our conditions and focus on the negatives of how it will impact the workplace…Your neurodivergence, being who you are, is an asset. We are legitimately assets for your company. We can learn the skills and we can apply them.
