Melwood seeks to increase its energy efficiency through infrastructure and technology improvements at its headquarters campus. The project includes retrofitting interior lights; replacing exterior doors; automating temperature control systems; refurbishing and replacing HVAC systems; and upgrading water fixtures. The project is estimated to generate a 22 – 26% reduction in utility costs and over $45,000 in annual savings, allowing Melwood to reinvest those dollars back into its programs. Melwood is seeking support to cover these improvements.
