Cynthia Ivory Gervais serves as the Vice President of Employee Success and provides executive-level leadership and guidance to Melwood’s Human Resources operation.

In addition to ensuring Melwood’s human resources policies and procedures are legally compliant and represent industry best practices, Ms. Gervais is also responsible for identifying and implementing long-range strategic talent management goals. In adding Employee Success to the title, Melwood signals commitment to staff through investing in employee learning and leadership development opportunities.

Ms. Gervais joined Melwood in 2014 and has held progressively responsible roles within Human Resources before her promotion to Vice President in 2018. Ms. Gervais also serves as the Facility Security Officer (FSO) ensuring that the personnel security program meets DSS standards and policies.

Prior to joining Melwood, Ms. Gervais was Director of Talent Acquisition for an industry-leading global human capital firm; managing project recruitment, contingent searches, and single search recruiting. Ms. Gervais earned a Bachelor of Arts from Dickinson College and a Master of Divinity from Wesley Seminary.
